Abram Diallo, Guinean Dance Master
Abram is a spectacular African dancer from Guinea Conakry in West Africa. He has been dancing since the age of seven. Training and rehearsing by the sea, he rose up quickly through one of the most celebrated Guinea ballet troupes – Ballet Fareta – and by the age of 18 became ballet’s choreographer.
Abram has been teaching African dance in Stockholm and London since 2006, and has taught workshops across Europe, as well as China and the US. He also toured Europe performing with the highly acclaimed Afrika Afrika – a unique African circus show, and is now lead choreographer of Wuntanara – London’s finest West African music and dance ensemble.
Abram leads the Dances of Guinea course at Morley College in London and performs regularly with Wuntanara (https://www.facebook.com/Wuntanara)
